Connect your domain

You already own a domain — great. Follow these steps at your domain registrar (wherever you bought it, like Namecheap, GoDaddy, or Squarespace Domains) to point it at your new Handshake MG site. This works the same way no matter which domain you use.

Log in to your domain registrar

Go to the site where you purchased your domain and log in. Find the DNS settings (sometimes called "DNS Management," "Manage DNS," or "Advanced DNS").

Add these two DNS records

Add exactly these two records. If a record with the same host already exists, replace it rather than adding a duplicate.

Using Cloudflare as your DNS provider? Set both records to "DNS only" (grey cloud), not "Proxied" (orange cloud).

Save and wait for propagation

Save your changes. DNS updates usually take effect within a couple of hours, but can occasionally take up to 24 hours.

Let us know it's done

Once you've added the records, reply to your onboarding email or message us — we'll finish linking your domain to your site on our end and confirm once it's live.

Heads up: if your domain is already connected to another website or service, adding these records will point it to your new Handshake MG site instead. Only do this once you're ready to switch over.
